Good rant Gordon pity it's far away from the facts.The facts are this the guy in front of me on that particular bus made an offensive remark about one of our black players picking up his wages with banana fingers .We told him to STFU;,now Shep and his pal pissed as farts thought this was hilarious;,proceeded to egg the guy on including coming up with'clever' little ditties about other assorted fruit:,now pissed as farts still wouldn't shut up, even being told to shut up by Julie and Pam,
Then one of the woman having had enough of them proceeded to poor a bottle of water over the two pished as farts idiots. Steve and I had already told them in no uncertain terms to shut it. Now Steve had a word with me on the bus saying' watch it when we get off the bus there might be trouble.'Sure enough when we were getting off the bus water was thrown over me by Shep and his mate. Then when we got off the bus Shep and his mate were right in the faces of both Julie and Pam.Me and Steve then told them if they were going to pick on someone to pick on someone of their own size.That's when it all kicked off.
Now I don't give one about how good a pal they had been to your son,they got what was coming to them that day.Now subsequently I made that remark on the Bounce saying even though I was gay I was no fairy. Ok a stupid boast, but that is what happened.

I suspect that as the number of people who've been vaccinated increases, the pressure to open things up too wide and too early again will become massive. We're potentially going to have a vaccinated and unvaccinated split roughly along age lines. Older people vaccinated, younger ones don't give a shit, everyone desperate to get out the house, go on holiday, go to the pub etc.

As an aside, she was tested at 11am yesterday(Friday). Results 24 hours later. Which I think is reasonably quick.

They do all kinds of testing, too.

My Dad aged 68 had a cardiac arrest 9 weeks ago. Apparently only 7% of those that do outwith hospital survive. So we are very fortunate. Sadly because my Dad's brain was starved of oxygen for a period of time he's been very confused. In rehabilitation though in hospital he's doing great. Getting better every day. In his ward there's been a Covid-19 breakout. Thankfully he's avoided it. I hope and pray he continues to do so before we get him home to my Mum. I just find it weird that patients like my Dad are not getting a vaccine when in hospital.
