Imagine trying to share a link to that shite!
I did say If True.
Might replace Combe with someone that could improve Rockys distribution....
Was that not rumoured months ago?Craig Samson
Former Kilmarnock and St Mirren I think?
Went to Sunderland with Jack Ross.

I'm not sure tbh, but it makes sense that he wants a team he's used to working with.
Flo possibly off to Hull or the Zombies.
Aye Hun media has started.
Apparently a cut down price of £150k and we've already rejected a bid from Hull..
Dunno where that came from ?
Do you think as we are looking to make cuts we may sell our asset making players?
I think for players we want off the books... Flo, yes. Definitely.
Not your Martin Boyles or Scott Allan's though.
Boyle might have been looking to leave this summer if a big move came up anyway, just have to wait and see.I think for players we want off the books... Flo, yes. Definitely.

Reckon it’s all out of our hands now
Hibs' financial position laid bare in Zoom meeting as players asked to consider wage cuts
Consultations also taking place with non-playing staffwww.edinburghnews.scotsman.com
I dont think many teams will be spending money to try and sign anyone.I really hope we can hold onto Boyle, I think there will be interest in some of our players tbh.

Maybe that’s the reason Ross wants more pace in the team if Boyle does leave.

We're more likely to lose everyone next season on a free.
If players want to leave I would hope we got something for them rather than losing them for nothing as you say. I would expect to see loads of decent players available on a free we just have to make our moves quickly if they match what we are looking for.

We need that pace with or without Boyle. One flying squirrel isn't enough.
Could well have been the chat though. Wasn't there a Smellies... rumour at the turn of the year?
When you delete a chunk of the message, dont delete the /quote at the end in brackets, confuses things ha!
I'm hoping we sort out our wage situation or we're bringing nobody in at all, I get that morally not signing while not paying is good n all, but we need a squad.
Haha, Don’t know what happened there, when Flo leaves we will need another two strikers, but we may have to free up some of the English players to bring others in.
It might not be as easy to move them on as that sounds.
We're either tearing up contracts or hoping someone comes willing to pay.
I actually thought we were gonna be okay through all of this.. now I'm starting to worry.

Aye, I wouldn't argue that, but I still don't see many clubs offering for players just now.
I see on that article redundancies are offered.. Are players within their rights to walk when reduced wages are offered? Wouldn't want to be involved in those conversations.
Everyone else has had to take cuts to preserve their jobs, football is in a completely different planet though.
Tough times are coming
Stoke and Huddersfield seemingly interested in Boyle.
Stoke City and Huddersfield Town targeting Hibernian winger
Stoke City and Huddersfield Town are interested in Hibernian winger Martin Boyle, as per a report by the…the72.co.uk
I would normally be in agreement with you on this HZ, but this virus may have put paid to 'life changing' wages/ signing on fees for a while.I think Boyle will go. He’s 27 so now is the best chance for him to earn a massive life changing contract, especially off the back of two serious knee injuries.
I hope if he goes it’s down south and we get a very good fee for him.
Think Boyle will go, this would be his chance to earn a very good wage for his family and probably get Hibs a very good fee, be sad to see him go mind youStoke and Huddersfield seemingly interested in Boyle.

I'm not saying he wont be far better off financially with either of those clubs, simply the numbers wont be as impressive as they once were.
Put it like this , he wont starve.
In Scotland yes, they are still chucking money about like there is no tomorrow in the top leagues down south.
This is what I'm hoping for too.
I think Boyle will go, if theres interest and its serious then who can blame him.
He's more than worked for his shirt while being here so I could only wish him the best. Cup winning legend that he is.
Next part.. what's a reasonable price given the climate and his contract situation..?
A year ago, to about January I'd have tried holding out for about 1 to 1.5M
I'd imagine that would be hard to get now.. Clubs down south will be well aware of us looking at reduced contracts, redundancies etc.
Our bargaining power is falling away by the day.
another player that certainly got us.
I think we can still hold out for 1-1.5m, full international with pace to burn that can score and change a game for a team.

A certain rag reporting That Michael oneils stoke ready to make a £1mil swoop for Boyle
I'd bite their hand off at that. Be gutted to see him go, but that'll definitely soften that blow.
Much better than a fire sale take what we can get kinda scenario.
