It’s not ideal, but reality unfortunately. In the cold light of day, forth place should be where we finish. The three above us can outspend us. I can’t remember the last time we outbid the Sheep for a player. I’m sure if it was a couple of hundred quid difference, a player would choose Edinburgh over Aberdeen in a second. We have the advantage with facilities and placement, they just offer more loot and continue to finish above us. Sooner or later we need to set a marker down and pay more if we want to finish 3rd. The boy McRorie would have made a big difference to us. He was a hug stand out in the previous game I thought.
Why didn’t we push the boat out for McCorie, if we really want to compete and finish 3rd which was Ron’s expectations then we need to be able to compete against them.
