Decided to head down to Leith tonight for a couple of pints for the first time since about February.
Went to the big Weatherspoons in Duke Street. Had to fill out a form with all my details. Then told to sit at a high chair and someone would be over to take my order. Waited about 10 minutes till someone came over. Enjoyed a couple of beers for the first time in 6 months but it was a strange experience. I am not digital minded so I can't quite understand how the app thing works when you are ordering beers and food. How do they know who you are and where you are sitting ?
Don't think I will be going out much from now on to be honest. I think the days of going out to a pub at the week-end and just mixing freely with others are over for good.
