Just been pinged by Test & Protect as my Daughter in law has Covid.
PCR test in Fraserburgh at 16.30 hours.
Did a lateral flow at lunchtime which was negative.
Better safe than spreading.

Yes, I have had 4 negative and one positive PCR all pretty much 22 hours from test to result.

Rise due to schools being back but also the re-opening of nightclubs IMO. Seen some photos on Facebook at the weekend of some Edinburgh clubs (Subway and Hive) absolutely packed to rafters with young team. Don't blame them in the slightest as they've been cooped up and many haven't experienced this before, but it has to be having an effect on numbers?

Thanks for the insight here. It's interesting but not exactly the same, but if you look at the graphs for the Spanish Flu outbreak...it has the same kind of spike, drop, spike and then drop off.
