Football fix for those struggling , starts on sky at 4pm sunday 👍

Referee blew for full time 5 minutes early today 🤣🤣🤣 tried to get both teams back out only one team did the other said half their team were showered and changed lol

Decided to follow Comoros.

Because they play in green, and also rather amusingly I have no idea where it is or that it was even a country.

I thought they were dragons!

How can there be a whole country I've never even heard of? I feel guilty about my ignorance now so I'm going to join you.

'Mon Comoros, intae these Moroccan fuds the morra

There's loads of countries that are springing up, seems like every week!

I thought you meant Cameroon, who also play in Green. Looked Comoros up, very small Island country off East coast to the north of the Mozambique channel. Looks like they were a French colony

Nice flag

Nice flag
You can't accuse them of not choosing main colours and you can't say they stinted on the number either.

African flags tend to be much more experimental and bold. Probably mostly younger (countries)?

2-0 going on 10-0 Morocco. Comoros keeper good in 2nd half. VAR working as it should to award a perfectly good goal given offside

Nah they didn't have a clue really. Occasionally threatened but ripped apart defensively.

Comoros having to play this match without a keeper (their one remaining keeper is in covid isolation so they have a left back in goals) and their captain got sent off in seventh minute. Tough shift, 1-0 down to Cameroon.

AFCON really is the Sunday league of international football tournaments, absolutely brilliant stuff! Proper football.

Some of the tackles and decisions have been nothing short of spectacular 😂

The 50/50 tackles are a thing of beauty!

Some ping though

Africa Cup of Nations: At least eight killed in crush at Cameroon stadium.

It seems to be a growing thing of fans without tickets storming gates to get in, even in big tournaments.
