Summer 2021 Rumours

Hibs twitter removed their pinned tweet a minute ago which was the Nathan Wood signing, another one imminent?

Hibs website still hasn't put up the transfer round up they do when business is done. Still hope, I'm sure if the transfer is fully agreed they get an extra hour after the deadline to wrap it up. I might be talking crap but i'm sure they have said that before. Really hoping Mueller arrives.

Not Hibs related but just saw on SSN that Real Madrid had bid £189m for Mbappe when he only has a year left on contract. Obscene stuff.

PSG rolling in so much dough they don't give a fuck about almost 200 million quid, christ. Football clubs shouldn't be allowed to be bought by a country's royal family

How does he fit in the team if we sign him? Don't understand

Sorry about the size of that tweet pic in last message. I'd love to see Wright leave for McGrath but would be gutted to see Allan leave

I hope this goes through! Be sad to lose Scott Allan but he's not going to play too often.

Hibs fans on Twitter not happy about Allan leaving. I agree with Smurf though, hate to lose him but he'll probably not start many games.

I’d take that deal in a heartbeat,Scott hasnae been the same player for a while and won’t get a new deal

Hibs fans on Twitter not happy
Shock news on transfer deadline day 😂

Some tweets saying Hibs failed but a few saying it's going through

Wikipedia has McGrath scoring 31 out of 44 games, I knew he had a few but had no idea he had been that prolific!

St Mirren fans must absolutely hate us

Can play anywhere in midfield, I see him more as an attacking midfielder than a wide midfielder, but he is capable.

Allan in his last year, isn't really getting game time.
Probably best for him to move on if we're being honest.

I can think of someone who will be delighted with McGrath.

He is a good player, has room to improve where Scott doesn't. Be a good deal in fairness, for both sides.

Be happy with this by the sounds of things then, paying less cash by including Drey Wright as part of the deal would be the cherry on top

Getting Drey Wright away would make this the greatest window in a while, I've never taken to him.

St Mirren have punted some boy out to St J on loan and said "that concludes our business for the summer window"

Probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves though, we've left this really late.

My only thing, is a midfielder wasn't really what we were desperate for.
McGrath is away for internationals tomorrow and we're out here doing business with him at this time? His agent can deal with most of it, but it's bound to be in his keeping him up figuring out whether or not he's a St Mirren player or not.

Wonder what happened with his deal to go down south? Middlesburgh I think?

Sky Sports saying the deal is dead as there wasn't enough time, why did we leave it so late?

I'm not taking this McGrath thing seriously.
No way have Hibs waited till about 10 to midnight to try to push through a deal like that.

The window is closed and IMO Hibs are seriously short of options up front.
That should not have been allowed to happen.

Apparently the boy was supposed to be moving to England and it only fell through at 11pm. Some effort to nearly pull a deal out of the hat in an hour if so.

Sorry about the fact you shared the Scum.

So we have something public to say we tried as everything else fell apart that was quiet.

I believe we've made efforts to bring players in, but for reasons unknown, we've not been able to strike a deal.

We're praised for being tough, seems like other teams have likely taken the same approach towards us.

Free agent striker it'll have to be then 🙄 plus Allan now knows he's not part of the plans, bit gutted for him. Dgaf about Wright. Weird deadline day to be honest

Piss poor short last year upfront and still short after another window.

I never realised that, cheers.

Indeed I am but at the time that guy was the only verified account I could see posting it.

We have a good starting 11 but any injuries and we are struggling.

I’m disappointed

Confused. Did Jamie Gullan go in the end?

No.

Graeme Mathie talks the talk, but that’s about it. All his ‘speed dating’ with teams across Europe etc has come, once again, to nothing.

Looks about right. He was destined for Teeside but it fell through. Wonder why?
Never mind, the fact Hibs tried to get the guy last minute......and failed......will be enough for at least a handful of Bouncers to stamp feet, slam doors and throw toys around.
Relegation battle this season....

Very disappointed this morning.Club have again let fans down.Hard to believe that our recruitment has been found wanting yet again.Sadly I think it will come back to haunt us.We should have had another striker in.

Reading now that things were submitted on time, but that Hibs “botched” the paperwork. That’s even worse!

Did we miss out on McGrath as reports are saying they think we done enough to include the deal? Did we also sign the boy Tait from Raith as I couldn’t find anything in regards to that also.

I'll just leave this here too.

fuck knows but since there hasn’t been any transfer window wrap up statement from hibs we may be waiting on SPFLs decision on paperwork…or is that clutching at straws 😂

Halberg £540k aye?
sean mackie £270k
Gogic £450k
Gullan £300k

That website is like using football manager to value a squad. Means nothing.

Underwhelmed to say the least with how yesterday ended. The Manager has been let down.

Where are you reading that? The only source I've seen that's used the word "botched" is the s*n and having read the article (and feeling quite dirty as a result) it doesn't say there was a paperwork error, just that it wasn't in time.

I assume you have a different source though as I can't imagine any Hibs supporter would be so desperate to put the boot into the club that they'd use the s*n as a source without even reading the article properly.
