Both linked with Aberdeen.
I reckon Sir David will want to move on to a club where he can get regular football. It may be that Daz will also look to wind down his career with a move into coaching.
Neither will be ‘moved on’ but the decisions will be taken by the players.
Hard acts to follow.
The laddie Kerr from St J is a good central defenderWe will certainly need to bring in at least one central defender over the summer. I think Porteous will be one of those sold on if we can get a decent offer. I also doubt Darren McGregor will be able to play much if at all next season. Gallagher is a good solid centre half but who knows our recruitment team may have already identified better quality players to come in which are within our price range.
And a Hibby. The laddie Kerr from St J is a good central defender
Jason Kerr has been consistently good for St Johnstone. I think we’ll see him in a green jersey at some point. And a Hibby.
We should definitely go for Kerr.
Seemingly going down south.
We should go for McGrath especially as Murphy is injured again.
Not been said but Scott looked very average at the weekend. I'd say Mackay too hasn't impressed much. Both no doubt good players but both are going to take time to find their feet. What's the injury timetable?
I'd give Mackay a chance to stake a claim. Scott didn't shine out left in his chance at the weekend, but he's no used to playing here yet, think he's quite likely to continue too

Surely we can beat Wigan to this signing, £500k is a really good price for Kerr
Depending in where he lands in this pay scale
Wigan Athletic 2023 Wages | Player & Team totals
Wigan Athletic's total wage bill per year is £5,996,120 and £115,310 per week | Search the most comprehensive salary and contract database.salarysport.com
I think we can compete tbh.
Wigan are skint so I cannot see them offering higher wages.
Skint enough to pay £500k though.
If we can't match that then we're having a laugh thinking we are ever going to challenge seriously...Skint enough to pay £500k though.

He played very well, few great balls up to Connolly on the break. Won't be long before JDH gets a call up but Stephen Kenny is more familiar with McGrath from their Dundalk days, probably why he gets the nod.McGrath playing well against Portugal and set up the goal
So we mibbes tried but he wanted too much money?
He had probably already committed himself to Hearts....but yes, they will probably be paying him more money than we were prepared to do.So we mibbes tried but he wanted too much money?

RE McGrath, I thought he sounded a bit pissed off that we ere not able to conclude the deal. I think we will be bac in during the January window for him either to sign then or do a pre-contract. Same with Jamie McCart.
I thought that interviewer did an excellent job too. Respectful but asking the tough questions that we the fans are interested in.Jack Ross is an excellent representative for our club.
