Irish Hibee

Hi all, hope you're well.

Relatively new Hibee, moved to Edinburgh around 3 years ago from Belfast. Having never seen the appeal of the old firm and all the shite it brings I largely followed the Irish league in all its semi-professional glory.

Having been going to Hibs matches on and off while bouncing around the city I've recently moved down to Leith. Didn't hesitate on getting a season ticket for next season and cannot wait.

No idea who I'll be sitting beside but it's all part of the experience.

Aye definitely, life's too short for all that mess. Don't understand why Hibs don't have a bigger following back home, it's in the name ffs!

Such is the world we live in. I won’t pretend I know intrinsically the footballing allegiances of everyone in Northern Ireland but it seems to me that a lot support Celtic or Rangers because of the religious or cultural links and then a lit support the big English sides because of glory hunting really. After that, not a lot of room for clubs like us
