Thought he still had a year on his contractIf celtic don't extend his deal by end of play tomorrow, he's allowed to start talking to clubs.
Might be an interesting few months

No, Celtc have a year's option which they may or may not take up. They have until COP tomorrowThought he still had a year on his contract
Think the smelly hoardes will be demanding bigger and better after this season , i'd be surprised if they were to take up the optionNo, Celtc have a year's option which they may or may not take up. They have until COP tomorrow

ProbablyAberdeen bound it is then.
I would be amazed if LG ends up anywhere but Hibs.. only if his thoughts are fir staying in Scotland that is
I think he will swap places with either Porto or Nisbet. Maybe even Boyle.
Edward will be away, klimala has gone and ajeti is shit - I'd be amazed if Griffiths doesn't stay with them
They will spend big though. That's a fair point. Doesn't leave them with much firepower.
They will spend big though.
Their current strikers have failed them this season. They won't be allowed another chance.
Hope soLikewise, I think he could do a job in England but don't think anyone would take a chance.
Not sure a European adventure would suit him.
America if he had an offer, but I dunno that would come about either.
Hibs it is
Agreed. Celtic and their biscuit tin mentality often has some truth to it but after this season, their fan base will be expecting a huge summer from them. Money will be spent this close season by them and I can’t see them offering Griffiths a new contract. If you're a club the size of Celtic you'd surely be looking to offload Griffiths and get someone younger in on a 4/5 year deal with potential to sell. Would be surprised if Griffiths got an extension to be honest.
to who though ??Knowing celtic they'll probably trigger the extension, decide they don't want him and sell him for a million quid. Dicks
I'm sure at least half a dozen English championship teams would take him if not any lower Premier league teams? Chunk change to them
I’d rather spend the money on pay offs. After today, let’s just get him in
Looks like Newell and Jackson didnae turn up either. Not good enough.I’d rather spend the money on pay offs.
Sorry to disappoint the Newell lovers but he’s no safe either. Relocation package for Irvine to help him on his way to his new employer in cloud cuckoo land that he’s been holding out for a year for
I never switched on again today so I’m basing this on about 10-12 matches I was able to watch this season.
Fucking shite.
Yes! He get's Hibs which is hugely important for us and him, especially now given his age and where he is in his career! He must be set up financially and still have a point to prove to his doubters? After today, let’s just get him in

Watch his hair doesn't get in your eyes.Ah yes the guy we couldn't afford who'd be away down south . I'll give him a fuckin lift if he needs one
my hair doesnt get in my eyes never mind hisWatch his hair doesn't get in your eyes.
Or vice versa.....
looks like the smellies are toying with giving him the chance to prove himself to the new manager
maybe just paper talk ???Just knew that would happen.
He may refuse their offer possibly if Hibs showed genuine interest.looks like the smellies are toying with giving him the chance to prove himself to the new manager
Kennedy said decision expected within the next 2 weeks.maybe just paper talk ???
Just knew that would happen.
Money aside which, unless he's into yachts and fast cars he probably has enough.Depends how happy he is to sit on the bench again.
My understanding is that the extension has expired, so they have to offer him a new contract now.
He'll obviously make more money there though.
Yup just get the feeling that a new manager at Celtc will make a lot of changes and can’t see Griffiths being part of the plansLooks like Griffiths will be free from his contract.
