After Hibs refused celtcs enquiry. So SPFL move it without Hibs permission. Surely not allowed just to suit a club for whatever reason??D00BED18-2B55-4668-AB28-AC80BBC485D0.png

Fucking wanks!

Might suit us fine: we can't perform in a 3 kickoff

Woops

Didn't see this I was posting in the LD thread

Anyway SPFL have broken their own rules so this game can't be moved

What’s the rule?

That's ok I wasn't going anyway.

spfl have said that policy for the past 22 years is:

if clubs cant agree & fixture is still in the same Friday to Monday weekend then to agree to the home request.

Frankly, I find that unbelievable, and I find it unbelievable that Leeann wouldn't know that if it were true.

How long has the SPFL been going?
Seems it was 2013! So they haven’t had that rule in place for 22 years?

Why did they ask for the change?

To go Dubai

Surely they have to quarantine for a fortnight after going on holiday or is that just for us wee people?

Celtic have been playing in Europe and never quarantine after any game so I don't see why this would be any different.

Anyone who plays against them, or comes into contact with their fans should quarantine.

Or at the very least shower thoroughly.

This is a holiday not work.

Dinny be daft it's still work. It's a training camp.

But it's not necessary as per the rules on foreign travel for elite sports

Yet another example of just how much power and influence the Old Firm have in scottish football.

Absolutely every rule and plans for the future of the game are and will continue to be geared for their benefit.

Perhaps what the rule means is that if it's Celtc or the Huns making the request the SPFL will bend over for them regardless of what the other club wants or agrees to.

Not that bothered at current time would be annoyed if able to attend and game moved from Saturday to Monday night

From a fans perspective perhaps.
But as for the club, we will have all our training booked in advance, days off will need to change etc.
A heads up before just changing would've been appropriate at minimum.

Levein spoke out against the old firm last week about how the game is designed to benefit them (it was mostly done with last seasons final standings in topic) but it'll open the dialogue publicly and us doing this is another example of it.

Not that it'll change anything, but if we're all starting to fight back its at least a step in the right direction.
