Dylan McG

The male version of Pam Ayres.
Never could see the fascination for the guff he churns out.

But there's a new poet on the horizon, well he would be on the horizon if he wasn't in his submarine.....

"My new project is writing poetry to myself. I created a whole poem about the history of Lithuania. I'm excited about it."

Mad as a box of frogs. Completely hatstand.
Bet his poetry makes JCC's stuff sound decent.

JCC's the boss, got in there ahead of toasting and rap, more similes than you could shake a stick at, and rcited them at 100mph on stage from memory too.

And someone mentioned Pam fúckin Ayres wtf?

Seriously, have a listen on Youtube on your next cruise lads :wolfie:

Saw him live once many years ago.
I dont doubt he had something to project, but his incessant foot tapping was so annoying I couldn't listen to what he had to say.
Listening to him on my Round the World cruise?
Nah.

"And then Pam Ayres. And I have to say that Pam Ayres was a great help to me too. I was pushing for a career in poetry and of course the received wisdom was that you would never make a living at it. Pam Ayres was the one person I could point at and say: "Yes, you can." For a year, she was winning Opportunity Knocks. It was like she owned that show every week. I took a great deal of encouragement from the upward trajectory of Pamela Ayres. And of course that was what emboldened my mum. What has always been my advice to someone starting to write is find someone with a style you like, copy that style but write about your life."

I can't fathom why Pam Ayres is getting it tight from some one here. I thought her poems about life in general were pretty decent generally humerous and at least she made an effort to get them to fukking rhyme.

He said something similar when he was on Desert Island Discs. If you have BBC Sounds it's worth having a listen to that, JCC comes across as a very thoughtful, erudite and witty guy. Likewise in the programme did ages ago about Salvador Dali in the 'Great Lives' series.

I heard we wanted to bring Dylan back in the last transfer window, but couldn't make him an offer until we offloaded Vela. Dylan wouldn't wait and signed for the Dons.

We offloaded Vela two days later, and moved to replace elsewhere.

Lucky us, he’s been pretty pish since leaving us. He won’t find the same form he did when playing with McGinn.

In saying that, it’s pretty piss poor we couldn’t secure another target before letting a player go. Doesn’t look very good going forward.

I see what you're saying but for the likes of Dylan/Vela that could be in the hundreds of thousands over the lengths of their contracts. What if Vela had sat in? That's too hot for us to handle, these guys would be at the top of our structure. No Marc, no Stephane???

I'm fairly sure we'd take a punt with 'cheaper' players.

Lucky us..... pretty piss poor.

Your logic is like my missus.

Wait a fcukin minute........

Toilet seat up. Does that annoy you?
And my socks on the floor?

These aren’t trick questions by the way,

Well, maybe they are.

The last thing men will understand is ladies logic and it's always a trick question.

I’ll keep it simple. I’m personally glad we didn’t sign him, but it’s piss poor on the clubs behalf that a player identified by the manager to sign, can’t, because we are waiting to move another player on.

The socks and toilet seat don’t annoy me too much, it’s when the missus forgets the sugar in my tea :gigglle:
